BeForever exists because someone we loved was gone before we could ask the questions that mattered.
How It Started
The question we never got to ask.
In 2021, our co-founder Sarah lost her grandmother — a woman who had survived war, raised six children, and carried within her a lifetime of stories that no one had ever thought to record.
At the funeral, Sarah's cousins kept asking each other the same questions. What was she like as a young woman? What did she believe in? What would she have told us?
No one knew. The answers had gone with her.
Sarah spent the next two years building the platform she wished had existed. Not a memorial. Not a photo album. A living presence — a way for the people we love to remain with us, in their own voice, long after they're gone.

We believe every person carries within them a universe of stories, wisdom, and love that deserves to outlast them. Our mission is to make preservation of that universe as natural and accessible as taking a photograph.

We build with an awareness that loss is real and near for many of our members. We never minimize it. We try to help carry it.

Marcus built AI systems for a decade before asking himself what they should actually be used for. The answer, he decided, was this — helping people leave something real behind for the people they love.
